Diary of Maria (Stevenson) Hibbert, Foxlease 1882-1892

Findings

Maria Stevenson lived at Foxlease until she married John (Jack) Hibbert after which she moved away and made infrequent visits after that. I already knew that Maria was not “the Lady” but there was a possibility that Constance Lascelles might be. I was hoping that the typed-up diary might have some clues.

Maria had a busy schedule of visits by friends and family and calls that she made on them. At times she visited or was resident at places other than Foxlease including:
